Bio

I am a photographer and writer working on the unceded Country of the Wurundjeri-willam people. My work dives into a range of different themes to do with belonging, including spirituality and land, lineage, identity, and textiles.

The biggest drive behind my art is a desire to foster meaningful connections, both with people and Country. My work is slow, reliant on introductions with entities I’m photographing, and always driven by consent and continual communication. While I have experimented in various photographic industries, l feel most passionate about documentary photography, pushing the boundaries on what it means to document through slow practises. These include film photography, creating cyanotypes and anthotypes, and using mixed mediums in the photograph.

I started my higher education in a Bachelor of Journalism, and have written for publications including ‘Soul Talk Magazine’ and ‘Unfiltered Magazine’, and I now run my own Substack. I moved into a Bachelor of Photography at the Australian College of the Arts (Collarts), graduating in 2023 with academic excellence and as the Better Futures Program Grant Recipient. Since graduating, I have focused on my fine arts practice, culminating in my first solo exhibition with Changing Room Gallery in 2025.
